Lantz Homes & Remodels is a third-generation, family-owned business with a stellar reputation for the highest-quality luxury home construction. In 2022, the company changed ownership from father to son, and at the same time, expanded its service lineup to include custom renovations and additions to meet the changing needs of its clients who wanted to remain in the homes they loved

The Challenge

The Lantz team was looking to refresh and modernize its brand without compromising the legacy they worked so hard to create. In addition, they wanted to grow their potential audience by spotlighting the exceptional quality and affordability of smaller home builds and remodels while sustaining their luxury home client base.

The Vision

Zeal kicked off the rebranding process by modernizing Lantzā€™s logo with a nod to the existing version. The colors have a brick-like tone to represent Lantzā€™s industry, and as a bonus, we incorporated the initials of the past and current owners.

Once the color scheme and design elements were established, we went to work on their website. Because Lantz is a family-owned business, we strived to humanize the brand experience with a ā€œfrom our family to yoursā€ approach, both in terms of the conversational content and professional portraits and candid images.

To showcase the brand, we featured finished project imagery as most construction companies do, but also included shots of the design-build process to reinforce Lantzā€™s quality hands-on construction, superior craftsmanship, and diversity of skills and collaborations. Finally, by implementing parallax scrolling, we were able to pack in a lot of information without being cumbersome to site visitors.

The Result

The moment the site was released to the world, the feedback from past, current, and prospective clients was everything Lantz and Zeal had worked toward. Readers were eager to learn more about exciting new developments at the company and embraced the modernized look. Through Zealā€™s organic social media and public relations efforts, Lantz drove new traffic to the site without having to make a large investment.
